All the radios here are licensed 4 watt uhf or 5 watt VHF radios, sold complete with battery pack, belt clip, and single stand-in charger. Should you need a 6 way rack charger for your radios, Consam manufacture rugged chargers for all these radios, utilising the chargers that are supplied with the radios, thus saving in the region of £100. These radios are all manufactured to the same Specification, and are all capable of 5 watts in VHF format and 4 watts in UHF. These radios all require an Ofcom license to use them. This type of radio is generally used in systems where the maximum hand-held range is required, often used with a talk-through base to give coverage over a wide range. Depending on the site of the base antenna, these systems can give a range up to 20 mile radius.
